Meet your trainer.

Hi! I’m Keith, the trainer behind Mulligan’s Manners, providing positive reinforcement dog training in the Edmonton and surrounding area.

Inspired by my own rescue dog, Mulligan, I believe every dog deserves a do-over. Whether that’s giving a rescue dog a second chance, helping a growing dog overcome life’s challenges, or giving a puppy the very best start, every dog deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and live life to the fullest.

My approach is built on fun, positive reinforcement training that strengthens the bond between you and your dog, while building confidence, trust and lifelong skills.

My Training

I’m a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Good Dog Academy and I’m committed to continuing my education so I can help you and your dog using the most up to date, science based training methods. Working with me means focusing on positive reinforcement with praise, treats and toys. I never use aversive techniques or tools such as pinning, leash pops, prong collars, shock collars, choke chains, etc.

In addition to my GDA-CDT, I’m a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers and I have completed specialized training, including:

  • Karen Pryor Puppy Start Right

  • Karen Pryor Click to Calm for Instructors (focused on fear, anxiety, and reactivity)

  • Michael Shikashio Master Course in Dog Aggression (one of the leading educational programs in canine aggression)

  • Good Dog Academy Day Care + Boarding

  • Good Dog Academy Professional Dog Walker

  • Dog Safe Canine First Aid
